My name is Mandi Nemeth. I am 28 years old and I live in Grand Ledge, Michigan, USA. I am a 4th grade teacher and have taught elementary school for the last six years. I am involved in serving in the Young Adult Community at Trinity Church. I enjoy cooking, reading, exercising, and visiting the beach. God is an intricate part of my life. I have found that pursuing a relationship with Christ is slowly changing me from the inside out. I rely on the Bible, God's word, to guide me through my every decision and show me the way to live to share his truth with others.

My name is Andrew Donaldson. I spend most of my time with friends and family, while the rest of my time is dedicated to my education and work. Among the most important aspects of my life are God, family, and friends – in that order. I’ve recently finished my BA in Professional Communications, but have a passion for education and plan to pursue my MBA in the near future. I’m at my best when I’m surrounded and working with people, but when I’m not I enjoy music and play guitar and other percussion instruments. I find college to be a difficult period in life to stay connected with God, therefore I feel moved to take this wonderful opportunity and use the gifts God has given me to fortify my faith and hopefully the faith of others!

My name is Edge Brussel. I am a 23-year-old student, one year away from graduating from Calvin College with a degree in Communications. I have been blessed to be raised in a Christian home. My interests range from unusual sports like roller-derby and fencing to painting and writing. I enjoy animals, children, and new perspectives. I am voraciously in love with the word of God and day-by-day dependent on my relationship with the Trinity. I felt led to go on this trip because I was seeking a way to give back some of the glorious bounty God has poured into my life. I am looking forward to being challenged and stretched in new ways.

My name is Bryan Grochowski. I was born into a Christian family, in northern Michigan, and I am the eldest of 5 children. I attended a Catholic School through the age of 13 and public school thereafter. Along with enjoying a large family, of over 40 cousins, I grew up playing basketball, soccer, baseball, & running track. I moved out on my own at the age 18 to attend community college. At age 20, I left my hometown of Alpena, to attend Michigan State University. I received a Bachelors in Science, in Environmental Biology / Botany and Plant Pathology in 1998. I have had the opportunity to travel to China, but this will be my first European experience, and certainly my first time in Hungary!
I have been working 10 years for the Department of Environmental Quality, doing pollution prevention work, including inspections to make sure that companies are not polluting rivers, lakes, and the ground, or exposing their employees and neighbors. I was elected to the Board of Directors for the MI Scientists & Engineers Union 4 years ago and was re-elected this year. I also served as the Commissioner and a coach in the State Employees softball league. I excel at teaching social dance, including salsa, swing, and ballroom in my spare time. The musical influence led me to play the guitar for the past 2 years, and I began attending Trinity Church around the same time. I am also an avid vegetable gardener with a great appreciation for nature. I see Christ’s teachings as harmonious with stewardship for the Earth and each other.

Hello! My name is Stevie Lynn Hammond. I am 24 years old and a student at Michigan State University. I will soon be receiving my BA of science in kinesiology. I enjoy being active and playing sports. My favorite sports are volleyball and running but I also enjoy basketball and soccer. Some of my other hobbies include art and music. I love painting, mostly abstract. I find its a good way to be expressive. I enjoy all types of music and have tried to learn to play guitar, although my skills are not quite yet exceptional. I was blessed to grow up in a Christian home and accepted Christ as my savior when I was 5 years old. Since then my spiritual journey has been full of highs and lows but I've found comfort in knowing that the Lord will "never leave me or forsake me." My favorite Bible verse is Matthew 11:28-29 where Jesus says "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." I like this verse because I feel that without Christ in our lives we live with an emptiness in our soul and the burdens of life can weigh us down. But Jesus welcomes us with open arms despite any burdens or baggage that we might carry and when we accept him and learn from him and follow his example in love, humility, obedience, prayer and faith we are filled with the peace of God. I am excited to reignite my passion for serving and ministry through this mission trip to Hungary and I can't wait to see how God will work in the lives of the teens, myself, and the group.

My name is Beau Nemeth. Just a little bit about me. I have been blessed with an amazing group of family and friends that give me a lot of support. I currently have the privilege of working and serving in my local church in Toledo, Ohio. I am involved with an amazing group of young adults that aspire and do great things for God. I am also a sports fanatic. I enjoy playing and watching all major sports. My favorite sports to play include basketball, baseball, football, golf, and most recently ultimate Frisbee. My favorite sports to watch would include football, March Madness and soccer (only around the World Cup and the Olympics). My day job is as a demand planner for a medium sized company called Therma Tru Doors. I also am currently in the middle of getting my MBA from Penn State U. It has been challenging thus far, but I believe that it will be rewarding once it is completed. I am looking forward to the trip and to see what God will do through us.

My name is Amy Kroesche. I recently got my Master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Michigan State University. Now I am both a student advisor and instructor at the English Language Center at MSU. I also lived overseas for several years teaching English. I’m always ready for an adventure. I love to learn, read, try new foods, and photography. I’m one of the leaders of the Young Adult Community at Trinity and I’m so excited that our community can partner with Rosegarden Church this summer. I’m looking forward to building relationships with the young adults in the church and learning more about the heart that all of you have to reach your community for Christ.

We are so excited to meet all of you. One of the strengths we have as a team is the fact that everyone really has a heart to serve wherever and however we are needed. We want to bring the glory to our Father through this camp, building our friendships, and this partnership.
